Jade/cloisonne/Ming Tomb

We started bright and early by stopping at a jade factory. It was beautiful and incredible what they can make from Jade. When we left the rain started to come down and we took a detour to the Ming Tombs. Then we stopped for lunch at a cloisonne factory that had everything and anything a tourist may want to buy. I did very well at keeping my RMB’s in my pocket. The cloisonne is beautiful and a symbol of Beijing. Boy would I love to bring this vase home. Then it was off to the Great Wall of China rain and all.

Yea, another post! Your truly soaring on wings like eagles, Paulette. Love that pic!
That is one HUGE vase, wouldn't want to knock that one over.
P.S. If you add me as having "Admin Priviledge" on your blog author I can clean up a little :)

I am so glad that you and Will are having a chance to be tourists and enjoy the country. I'm thinking of you all the time...how are you sleeping? Are you remembering to breathe? Even from here...I'm finding it hard to breathe or think about anything else. Just counting down the hours...
I love you,
Mish

Hi Paulette.. I'm back from my trip and catching up. I imagine you are probably on your way to Guangzhou right now. I can't believe you'll have your sweet Annalise in just 24 hours or so. I'm glad your trip so far has been an amazing one. You really have a lot of cool pics etc for Annalise's scrapbook.
Thinking of and praying for you all..
